Now
What I'm doing now.
May 2026
Work
Still spending my days as a staff product designer at Etsy. Also serving as an interim product manager for my squad, focusing on improving the web sign in experience.
Life
Picked up a running habit this year. Currently focused on improving my 5k pace and seeing where things go from there.

It’s become a normal part of my coding and prototyping workflow. I’m coaching and learning from colleagues at work. I still don’t use it for generating images, designs, or original writing.
August 2025
Work
Doing a rotation as a product manager at work (in addition to product design work).
Projects
Using the output of my spiral visualizer project to create a second physical piece of art (and working on a writeup for the first piece).

It’s solidly in the ‘we’ll see’ category for me. It’s not the everything engine. It’s not useless.
I’ve used it to successfully code projects that would never have seen the light of day without the ability to move from idea to working code in a short exchange. Other use cases: proofreader. Vim debugger. Rubber duck debugger. I don’t use it for generating images, designs, or original writing.
